Kimball identified"

This rendering
depicts the newly found (2018) wreck of the wooden
schooner "W.C. Kimball" as it lies on the bottom of
Lake Michigan. Painstakingly created from hours of
video, this depiction is the only version of the
wreck's current condition ever compiled, as the man
who found it, Ross Richardson commissioned the work
prior to the location of the vessel becoming public
knowledge. The Kimball is a 64 foot long wooden two
masted coastal schooner that sank in 1891. All four
souls died , and were never seen or heard from

"Westmoreland
Found"
|
This
rendering depicts the wreck of the
"Westmoreland" as it lies on the bottom of
Lake Michigan in 2012. Painstakingly created
from hours of video, this depiction is the
only version of the wreck's current
condition ever compiled, as the man who
found it, Ross Richardson commissioned the
work prior to the location of the vessel
becoming public knowledge. The Westmoreland
is a 200 foot long wooden packet steamer
that sank in 1854, before the civil war
began, and a full 10 years prior to the
assassination of President Lincoln.
Seventeen souls died during the sinking due
to a lifeboat mishap. More about the story

rendering depicts the wreck of the
"Northerner" as it lies on the bottom of
Lake Michigan in 2010. Painstakingly created
from hundreds of still photographs, and
archival material, this depiction may be the
most accurate version of the wreck's current
condition ever compiled. The Northerner is a
two masted Lake Schooner that sank in 1868
with no loss of life, 5 miles south east of
Port Washington, WI. It lies in 130 feet of
water, is on the national register of
historic places, and is a popular dive site
for scuba divers.
